Correction to the Club Woman Magazine

Corrections to the magazine Volume 72 / Number 6 page 4 ‘Business Now’ 

A clarification of the action taken:

The Executive Committee approved changes to the Standing Rules by a unanimous vote in their meeting. Then, in an unprecedented action, the members of the TFWC Board of Directors were asked to vote on the proposed change. The Standing Rule as printed in the magazine was approved by an overwhelming majority. 

Reprinted for your convenience is the new standing rule.

STANDING RULES

II.  FINANCES

6.  To enable the TFWC President to function better and to serve its members more efficiently, she shall:

1. Receive as a reimbursement for expenses $6,000.00 annually to be paid in monthly installments of $500.00 for the following:
   1. For arranging and scheduling TFWC meetings, visiting the Districts and individual clubs in TFWC, representing TFWC at functions to which she is invited or her presence is in the interest of TFWC

(1)    Gas

(2)    Telephone

(3)    Stationary

(4)    Postage

(5)    Food

(6)    Lodging

(7)    Airfare within the state when necessary to fulfill her duties as TFWC President

2. South Central Region expenses
3. GFWC Registration and meals
4. One-half of GFWC Travel Expenses
5. One-half of GFWC hotel expenses
6. Registration, tours, and meals for the TFWC Board of Director’s meetings and Conventions shall be complimentary for the President only
1. She shall present a list of expenses with itemized receipts to the TFWC Office Manager and the TFWC Financial Officer at the end of each month for an accurate record of expenditures
